State Farm Insurance posted the top 10 states where they receive the most claims from hail-related car damage. They are:
- Texas
- Illinois
- Colorado
- Missouri
- Nebraska
- South Carolina
- Pennsylvania
- Iowa
- South Dakota
- Kansas
Relieved to see Florida isn’t in the top 10? While it may not be on that list, Florida does occasionally see hail storms. There were 19 reported hail storms in and near Orlando, Florida since 2011. The most recent storm with hail occurred in the Lake Nona area in August 2014.
